Culture Forward Media Group was conceived by Alex West and Ruby Lee Dove in 2014. The Idea was birthed from the paucity of opportunities afforded to black and diverse actors. Nearly a decade after Its Inception, Culture Forward Media Group remains true to Its ethos. The mission is to create content, visibility and opportunities for people for black, brown and diverse.

We are a Los Angeles Based, Film Production Development and Multi-Media Technologies Company specializing in advertising, marketing, and producing film to reach the diverse audience. Developers of Culture Forward TV, a free streaming app for black owned and diverse content. Producers of Harvested (2021) and Harvested 2 (2022), and Harvested 3 (2024) the holiday horror film written and directed by Alex West. We are dedicated to producing, marketing and advertising diverse content and movies on Apple TV Plus and various other streaming services online. Black America continues to grow, and the outsized impact of their cultural and
economic influence cannot be ignored or taken for granted. Black audiences
lead media engagement across multiple channels—including digital platforms
where global marketers are planning increased investment. At the same time,
